NeuroRehabilitation Sunshine Coast has established a Centre of Excellence with the goal to educate and improve treatment of spasticity and cervical dystonia through safe and effective ultrasound-guided botulinum toxin injections.
Advanced Cervical Dystonia Convention 2027
Peppers Noosa Resort: 22nd – 24th March, 2027
The NeuroRehabilitation Sunshine Coast Advanced Cervical Dystonia Convention will be held at the Peppers Noosa Resort from 22nd – 24th March, 2027. Registration will be open to accredited registrars and consultants in rehabilitation medicine (physical medicine and rehabilitation) and neurology. The program focuses on ultrasound guidance, case studies, discussion and journal reviews for treatment of cervical dystonia with botulinum toxin. The teaching faculty consists of Dr Warren Jennings-Bell, Dr Jom Jiao and Dr Juan Rois, who have developed expertise in performing ultrasound-guided botulinum toxin injections for spasticity and cervical dystonia.
Registration cost is $1980, not including travel and accommodation. Special rates for accommodation at the conference venue will be available to registrants. Positions are limited and granted by way of application, with acceptance to the convention at the discretion of the organiser. No injections will be performed as part of this course.

Anatomy & Ultrasound Workshops 2026
NeuroRehabilitation Sunshine Coast is accepting applications from accredited registrars and consultants in Rehabilitation medicine and Neurology to attend a 1.5 day workshop to learn ultrasound skills for intramuscular injection of botulinum toxin for spasticity. Preceptorships
One-on-one preceptorships commenced with Dr Jennings-Bell in 2023 with experienced neurologist and rehabilitation physician injectors attending NeuroRehabilitation Sunshine Coast for an immersive experience of botulinum toxin injection via ultrasound for spasticity and cervical dystonia. A preceptorship can be held at the learner injector’s clinical site or at NeuroRehabilitation Sunshine Coast. At the learner’s clinic, Dr Jennings-Bell observes, provides guidance and feedback. At NeuroRehabilitation Sunshine Coast the learner observes Dr Jennings-Bell in his clinic setting, gaining insight into his skillset as injector, the treatments offerred and running of the clinic.
