Annual Cervical Dystonia Convention

Pullman Port Douglas Sea Temple Resort and Spa: 30th March – 1st April, 2026

The inaugural NeuroRehabilitation Sunshine Coast Annual Cervical Dystonia Convention will be held at the Pullman Port Douglas Sea Temple Resort and Spa from 30th March to 1st April, 2026. The annual ultrasound course is spread over 3 days. Registration is open exclusively to accredited registrars and consultants in rehabilitation medicine (physical medicine and rehabilitation residents and physicians) for now. In due course registrations will be accepted for neurology registrars and consultants pending availability. The course will focus on identifying muscles commonly affected in cervical dystonia. Teaching will be provided by Dr Warren Jennings-Bell, Dr Jom Jiao and Dr Juan Rois, who have developed expertise in performing ultrasound-guided botulinum toxin injections for spasticity and cervical dystonia.

Registration cost is $2750, not including travel and accommodation. Special rates for accommodation at the conference venue will be available to registrants. Positions are limited and available on a first come first served basis. No injections will be performed as part of this course. NeuroRehabilitation Sunshine Coast accepts applications from accredited registrars and consultants in Rehabilitation medicine and Neurology to attend a 2 day workshop to learn advanced ultrasound skills and anatomy for intramuscular injection of botulinum toxin for spasticity and cervical dystonia.
