About Dr Warren Jennings-Bell
Dr Warren Jennings-Bell has a passion for treating and educating in the field of spasticity and cervical dystonia.
Dr Warren Jennings-Bell is a Specialist and Consultant Physician in Rehabilitation Medicine subspecialising in rehabilitation following acquired brain and spinal injury. He is a Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. He has degrees in Medicine, Surgery, Medical Science and Biomedical Science. Dr Jennings-Bell has developed expertise in performing ultrasound-guided botulinum toxin injections for spasticity and cervical dystonia. He has travelled internationally to ensure his skills are of the highest level, attending educational events throughout Europe, Asia and the United States.
Dr Jennings-Bell is a member of the Rehabilitation Medicine Society of Australia and New Zealand, the International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, the International Neurotoxin Association and the Australian Medical Association. He frequently educates medical specialists around Australia and overseas in ultrasound, spasticity, cervical dystonia and botulinum toxin injection workshops. He has established the Centre of Excellence on the Sunshine Coast for education and published in the field of spasticity.
He sits on the Medical Advisory Board for AbbVie, the pharmaceutical company that produces Botox® and is as a peer reviewer for medical journals on the topic of spasticity and botulinum toxin.
